A simple family tree is just a series of charts that show how you connect from one person to another in a family.  You can start from whichever ancestor generation you want but for some who are interested in genealogy, then that a different level of family tree we are talking about. 

Maybe, before you even get started on your family tree, here are just some thoughts you may want to know ....

• Do you know understanding the roots of our family is like understanding oneself better?

• Wouldn't it be nice suddenly you found out that you have found a lost relative residing somewhere else?

• Sometimes it is so difficult to bring forth a subject of interest to a family gathering and wouldn't your new found information provide a linking subject to reconnect with your family members?

• Wouldn’t it bring inspiration and aspirations to your life if one day you found out that your late late late uncle was a self-made millionaire?

• If you are an adopted child, wouldn't you be curious as to know more about your family tree, where you come from?

• A lot of times we picked up certain traits or habits from our father, sometimes our grandfather, but do these traits carry further than just these two generations?  It certainly is interesting to know isn’t' it?

• Not only traits do we picked up but also hereditary illnesses.  So wouldn't it be life saving if we know our family medical histories and we can start preventing them?

• Wouldn't it be nice to be able to pass down what you have found out to your next generation, and then generation after generation?
